Re: On the road
Great. Will see if Paul can get home a little early, I can't. I suggest if you are going to be there that early you stop at my mom's and pick up our house key. I can have her leave it in the mailbox so you can drive by. :) can't wait to see you both.

My name is Nate and I am now 11 months old. I have six teeth (4 on the top, 2 on the bottom) and love to eat real food. Last week I ate a slice of pizza just like my big brother and big sister. Every morning I wake up and stand right up in my crib. I can hold on to furniture or the wall and quickly scoot around any room in the house. I am fearless and let go too. I can take 5-8 steps before being a little too top heavy and hitting my head on something. The great thing is that I am really strong and determined and I get over my boo-boos in seconds and am ready to walk again.
I am trying to talk and make lots of sounds. I recognize words and respond to some sign language too! I am in a big boy car seat and love to smile at Ruthie when we are driving. My favorite toy is Ethan's green scooter and I am weening myself off pacifiers.
I wake up happy and go to bed happy. I love getting bigger and doing more things on my own.

About 4 months ago we lost Ruthie's favorite stuffed animal, which we fondly called pink bunny, mostly because she was pink, 100 washes ago. We searched everywhere (in Ruthie's play toys: the washing machine, the fridge, the oven) and thought that she was gone...forever. And then on Saturday we had a day with amazing (50 degrees!) weather. We were outside playing and found PINK BUNNY!! She was inside the grill, not the pretend grill, but the real grill (Ruthie must have hidden her there). Ruthie was overjoyed. She immediately tossed green froggie and blue bunny down in favor of her long lost bestie. Tonight I went up to check on Ruthie and sadly found pink bunny and blue bunny both tossed next to the bed. I guess green froggie is still number one...for now.
